Led by MD, Clair Challenor Chadwick, the Hidden Wounds charity concert raised more than £65,000 for Help for Heroes, contributing to the psychological wellbeing and welfare of veterans.

Cause UK event managed the concert from day one, from launching ticket sales, creating a bespoke website, copywriting, managing public relations, marketing, creating a concert brochure, devising a charity auction, bringing in sponsors, liaising with the venue for table planning, and stakeholder management. The team assisted with coverage on ITV calendar and BBC radio, and worked with Graham Walker on media, filming and photography on the run up to the event.

Clair also garnered the support of Hesco, the Resort Group and Potters Plant Hire as well as Virginie Tattinger who provided champagne for the night, as well as a celebrity message of support from Bear Grylls.

Around 700 people attended the 3-course gala dinner, which featured music from Gary Barlow and the Puppini Sisters, and launched the debut single of Jo Heselden-Edwards, from her forthcoming album, Hidden Wounds.

The sold out event honoured the memory of Jo’s late father Jimi Heselden, the Leeds miner turned multi-millionaire inventor of the HESCO bastion ‘blast wall’, used to fortify military defences and credited with saving thousands of lives.

Eliot’s friend Donny Osmond alongside Bear Grylls sent video messages, played on a big screen, and Cause UK organised for Kensington Palace – official home of the Royal family – to tweet good luck, as #HiddenWounds started trending.

Cause UK also organised guest speakers’ veteran Tommy Lowther, who explained how Hidden Wounds has helped him and Tony Eaton, a regional manager for Help For Heroes.
