Health PR

Cause UK has worked on many causes and campaigns for clients in the medical, health and wellbeing sector.

We represented Harrogate Convention Centre when it was turned into a temporary Nightingale Hospital. Liaising with the comms teams at the NHS and the council, profile included the BBC, Sky, and Press Association. Clair contacted celebrities Cause UK has worked with over the years and organised video messages of support.

We profiled key campaigns for Professor Lord Robert Winston’s Genesis Research Trust in the Press Association, i news, the Times, Daily Mail, BBC Radio Four and ITV This Morning.

Cause UK also supported Leeds Hospitals’ Charity for a number of campaigns, including its appeal to build a new Rob Burrow Centre for MND. We told the story of Ian Flatt and his fundraising efforts, on Steph’s Packed Lunch , Sky News, BBC, and ITV news, as well as extensive newspaper coverage.

We’ve also launched new innovations for the health sector, such as Surfaceskins, achieving coverage in The Telegraph, and profiled Kinetic Six, led by former Special Forces soldier Shaun Levy, on Sky News and British Forces Broadcasting – broadcast to over 30 countries, on Navy ships, and online.

Countless fundraising campaigns include a pro-bono project for the then 8-year-old Lennie Street, raising funds for a new special school in Sheffield. We produced a fundraising film, helping secure celebrities to sing Hallelujah, starring Rufus Wainwright and Jools Holland and secured an anonymous donation from a very famous band from Sheffield! We placed Lennie’s story in regional and national media, including a live interview on Channel 5 News.

If you work in the health sector, we can help raise awareness.
